Celtic have a number of talented players at the club right now.
Reo Hatate, Callum McGregor and Arne Engels are the engine room and creative sparks in the heart of the Celtic first-team.
Kasper Schmeichel and Cameron Carter-Vickers help keep the back door locked and Daizen Maeda is the firepower that led Celtic to a league and cup double last season.
The fringe players also have a part to play with the likes of James Forrest and Anthony Ralston continuing to offer solidity from the Celtic bench.
However, Brendan Rodgers and the club believe that they have a ‘top player’ on their hands who now wants to explore a Celtic exit this summer.

Celtic think Hyunjun Yang is a ‘raw’ talent amid Norwich interest
Hyunjun Yang is a player who splits the opinion of the Celtic support. On his day, he looks like a really tricky and skilful winger.
However, there are occasions where the 23-year-old looks like a fish out of water inside Celtic Park.
And as Yang wants to explore a Celtic exit to Norwich City, Anthony Joseph said that both the Parkhead club are big fans of the South Korean international.
Joseph told Off The Underside, “Celtic see him as a player who is raw, but has shown between the months of November and March, real potential.
“Not just potential to become a starter, but potential to become a serious footballer. And I know so many Celtic fans might just laugh at that because what I’ve noticed on reporting on Yang is how polarized the Celtic support is on him.
“Some think he’s going to be an amazing footballer and has the potential to be an amazing footballer and so many think he’s absolutely terrible.”
How Brendan Rodgers really feels about Celtic winger Yang
But how does Brendan Rodgers feel about Yang? Will the Hoops boss be happy at letting the raw winger leave Celtic?
Joseph continues, “There’s not really a middle ground here. Some people think this guy is going to be a top player and some people think he’s absolutely terrible.
“And that cup final performance I think we saw more of that absolutely terrible. But Rodgers really likes him and really likes how he’s developed.”
Yang has been at Celtic for two seasons now and has made 65 appearances, scoring seven goals and creating nine assists, albeit that the majority are from the bench.
At 23, Yang is entering established player territory and should Rodgers decide to hang on to him, next season will be huge for the winger.
Because if he still finds himself as a bit-part Celtic player with the club clearly needing a winger, Yang needs to step up and turn that rawness into a fully cooked product or he will likely be shown the door next summer.
