The 25-year-old’s future will be up for debate in January, as well as the summer, but it seems that everyone thinks he should stay at Motherwell.

When does Stephen Welsh’s Celtic contract expire?
As it stands, Welsh’s contract expires in 2027, meaning he will enter the final 18 months of his deal next month.
Even the 25-year-old will admit himself that his Celtic future is coming towards the end, and a change of scenery may benefit all.
