Celtic could pile more misery on Rangers this Sunday for the final Glasgow derby of the season.
By the time Celtic and Rangers kick off, Danny Rohl’s side could mathematically be out of the title race, that’s if Hearts beat Motherwell the day before.
Of course, Celtic fans don’t want that because they are trailing the Jambos by three points – Derek McInnes’ men beat the Gers 2-1 on Bank Holiday Monday at Tynecastle.
With that Celtic clash up next, things could now go from bad to worse for Rohl, who looked like a broken man following the full-time whistle against Hearts.
Luke Shanley: “Do you accept that the title race is over, or is it a case of it’s extremely difficult?”
Rohl: “I would say extremely difficult. I think we know the table. What is disappointing is that you work very hard to come to such a point, and you lose two games.”

Danny Rohl slams Rangers players ahead of Celtic clash
Rohl should get used to this feeling because it’s what the modern-day Rangers have been all about.
Even in Celtic’s incredibly off-season, Martin O’Neill could win the double, all while watching the Gers go trophyless…again!
It also needs to be noted that on three occasions, over two spells, O’Neill has had Rohl’s number, and hopefully that continues at the weekend.
If that happens, then it will shut up the talk of Rohl wanting his Rangers players to show ‘courage’, when they have shown none of it during the post-split fixtures.
Speaking to Sky Sports, the German tried his best to be upbeat, as the Celtic clash looms for the under-fire Ibrox manager.
Luke Shanley: “Do you accept that the title race is over, or is it a case of it’s extremely difficult?”
Rohl: “I would say extremely difficult. I think we know the table. What is disappointing is that you work very hard to come to such a point, and you lose two games. Tight. 2-1 and 3-2.
“For me, unnecessary. I must say this. You have to take the points in this race. This is what we have to learn very soon and very quickly. This is our job. I lead this group, and we go again.
“In the next three games, I want to see courage from my players. This is what we have to do.”
