Celtic vs Dundee could be postponed as the Hoops confirmed Celtic Park has been dealt some damage due to Storm Eowyn.
The extreme weather has battered the south-west and central belt of Scotland since Friday morning, with Ireland and parts of northern England affected too.
Celtic are scheduled to return to Premiership action against Dundee on Saturday afternoon after beating Young Boys in the Champions League on Wednesday.
But that is now in jeopardy after Storm Eowyn has damaged Celtic Park with less than 24 hours until kick-off.

Storm Eowyn damages Celtic Park
Celtic say that workers cannot assess the extent of the damage as Storm Eowyn continues to rage on in Glasgow.
As such, they cannot be certain whether Celtic vs Dundee is safe to go ahead on Saturday and have told supporters that a further update will be issued in the morning.
An official Celtic statement reads: “Unfortunately today’s severe weather conditions have caused some damage at Celtic Park.
“Our stadium and safety staff are currently unable to fully assess the extent of the damage due to the ongoing extreme conditions.
“In light of this and in order that we communicate fully and openly with our fans, in the interests of supporter safety, we are unable to confirm at this stage whether the match tomorrow between Celtic and Dundee (Jan 25) will be able to proceed.
“Of course, we will be doing all we can to ensure that it does.
“A full assessment and decision will be made as early as possible tomorrow morning (Saturday) and we will update our supporters as soon as we can.
“We thank our supporters sincerely for their understanding.”
Celtic Women clash vs Hearts postponed
On Thursday afternoon, the decision was taken to postpone Celtic’s Scottish Women’s Premier League fixture with Hearts due to Storm Eowyn.
The game was due to be played at New Douglas Park in Hamilton on Friday night, but after Celtic consulted with the SWPL, it was called off.
A statement read: “The Scottish Women’s Premier League (SWPL) has confirmed that Celtic’s fixture against Hearts Women, scheduled for Friday, 24 January 2025 at New Douglas Park, has been postponed due to the red weather warning issued across Scotland’s central belt.
“The health and safety of our fans, players, and staff is our top priority. After consulting with the SWPL and all relevant authorities, the decision to postpone the match was made to ensure everyone’s safety.
“All tickets purchased for this match will remain valid for the rescheduled fixture.
“Thank you for your understanding. Further details about the rearranged fixture will be shared in due course.”
It has now been rearranged for Sunday evening and will be streamed live on the BBC Sport Scotland website.
