Celtic could be without Cameron Carter-Vickers for even longer this season.
Brendan Rodgers said that Carter-Vickers would be out for three-to-five months after getting injured in Celtic’s win against Sturm Graz.
The Hoops manager confirmed that the defender would be having an operation in a triple injury update for Celtic, but now things could be worse than feared.

Cameron Carter-Vickers could miss the rest of the season
According to the Daily Record, medical experts are fearing that the 27-year-old could be out for longer than the initial time frame.
There are even some suggesting that he could be out for the remainder, which will also leave his chance of securing a spot in the USA’s 2026 World Cup squad under threat.
Carter-Vickers has struggled with injuries in the past and that could play a role in the way he recovers.
Dane Murray endured a performance to forget against Hearts after being selected to replace him, while Auston Trusty and the forgotten loanee Jahmai Simpson-Pusey are also available.
