Pat Bonner was absolutely furious after watching Celtic’s defeat to Hearts and slammed almost every player who took part in the Tynecastle performance.
Brendan Rodgers sent a message to the Celtic fans after the game as he vowed to get his team out of this slump playing fast, attacking football.
Celtic supporters are deeply unhappy at what they are watching from their team and are wondering just how Rodgers can turn the poor form around with the players he has at his disposal.
And if fans thought that was bad, Pat Bonner was furious as he eviscerated the entire Celtic team with only two players avoiding the Hoops hero’s scattergun.

Pat Bonner slams Celtic treble-winner Reo Hatate who is ‘a shadow of himself’
Reo Hatate was the first player to cop Bonner’s criticism after the Japanese midfielder was posted missing again in the biggest game of Celtic’s season.
Bonner said on BBC Radio Scotland, “Hearts thoroughly deserved to win this game. In that second half, Celtic had nothing really. They didn’t.
“They had a couple of shots near the end, that big chance, maybe. But the game was over at that stage. But it looked as if they were out-fought in that second half, which is not a good sign for any team.
“Hatate is a shadow of himself at this moment in time. And, you know, Balkwisha comes on, did nothing, absolutely nothing.
“Tounekti in the first half, did okay. Second half didn’t get a ball to him. Wasn’t able to go and create.
“Then Yamada comes on, replaces Kenny, nothing, absolutely nothing. Now, he didn’t get much service.”
Two Celtic players who escaped Bonner’s scathing Hearts criticism
With Celtic looking in control in the first half, a second half capitulation was clearly enough to send Bonner over the edge.
However, just two Celtic players escaped the legend’s eyeline.
Bonner continued, “And just looking through the team, you take McGregor, take Scales out of it at the back, because I can’t fault him because of the consistency he’s had over a period, not brilliant today, but overall.
“And then McGregor, you take him out, nobody else. I can’t think of any other players that I could say was going to excite you, or create or do something
“Celtic, as a collective, normally they play really, really well. And that’s what was missing.”
It’s hard to disagree with Bonner’s assertions here as almost every Celtic player looks out of their depth this season.
Even Callum McGregor and Liam Scales have had some poor performances this season. With just 10 games gone, it’s far too early to suggest Celtic are out of the title race.
But with no signs of this slump in form ending, Celtic supporters are finding it increasingly difficult to see how the fortunes on the pitch will change as troubles off it continue.
