Celtic Fans Collective have escalated protestations against the club’s board.
The group – made up of a number of fan organisations including the Green Brigade and North Curve Celtic – have launched their ‘Not Another Penny’ campaign.
It comes after the initial protest at Rugby Park against Kilmarnock in September when some Celtic fans did not enter the stadium until the 12th minute.
Then there was the three-match silent protest that began during the draw with Hibs at Celtic Park, with a number of supporters inside the stadium refraining from singing or chanting for a period of time.
That three-match schedule was then postponed due to Celtic’s invitation to the CFC and more fan groups for a meeting to address the unrest face to face.
Sadly, that meeting was a disaster and has only fuelled contempt towards the board, so the CFC have now announced the next protest – and it’s a significant one.

Celtic Fans Collective announce ‘Not Another Penny’ campaign
CFC released a statement early on Friday morning confirming their next steps, with the group pledging not to buy anything from the club bar match tickets.
That includes merchandise from Celtic Stores, food and beverages at Parkhead, stadium tours, official bars and restaurants, and club-organised events.
CFC posted on X: “Following widespread agreement among member groups at last night’s meeting, the Celtic Fans Collective is launching the “Not Another Penny” campaign – effective immediately.
“For too long, the Celtic board has taken supporters for granted. They are responsible for repeated failures in Europe, an archaic transfer strategy, a collection of NEDs who have grossly out-stayed their welcome, inflated ticket prices and unfair distribution, a neglected stadium, a stale atmosphere, a non-existent fan engagement model, an underperforming academy, an underfunded Women’s team, and a pitch unfit for playing football the Celtic way.
“These are just some of the failures which expose an out-of-touch board and make a mockery of their claim to be “world class in everything we do.”
“Their contempt for supporters was laid bare in the recent insulting public statement of 6th September 2025, and confirmed again in last week’s well-documented meeting between the Club and the Collective.
“Our support for the team remains unequivocal. But our protest against the Celtic board and in particular Michael Nicholson, Chris McKay and Peter Lawwell continues – the “Not Another Penny” campaign is the next step in that effort.
“From today, we commit to:
- No more merchandise purchases
- No more food and drink at Celtic Park
- No more stadium tours, bars, restaurants, or Club-run events
- Nothing beyond a match ticket.
“This campaign will be reviewed on 3rd February 2026. Until then, not another penny.“
Celtic’s adidas SPZL release could flop
At around the same time the CFC announced the ‘Not Another Penny’ campaign on Friday morning, the club confirmed their new adidas SPZL clothing range is now on sale.
Promotional photos were posted earlier this week featuring Kieran Tierney and ex-Celtic player and assistant manager John Collins.
That generally wasn’t received well by Celtic fans, who effectively told the board where to shove it.
With the range now available to purchase, coinciding with the new large-scale protest of ‘no more merchandise purchases’, sales could be at an all-time low.
