Celtic fans have been delivering their brutally honest thoughts on Wilfried Nancy and the Parkhead board on our brand new TalkingPoints platform.

TalkingPoints was launched on 67 Hail Hail just over one week ago and Celtic supporters have been flocking to the new platform to discuss all the goings on at the club.

And what a time it has been. From Wilfried Nancy’s disastrous start as the Celtic manager to the Parkhead board’s ongoing war with the Green Brigade, there has been plenty to speak about surrounding the club this season.

Have the Celtic board set Wilfried Nancy up to fail?

And giving feedback to 67 Hail Hail on the brand new discussion platform, Celtic fans are clearly unhappy at a number of issues at the club right now as they tell us exactly how they feel about Nancy and the Celtic board.

Celtic fans have some stern words of advice for Wilfried Nancy

Nancy’s search for a Celtic win is at almost desperation stages and fans have some words of caution for the new manager.

One Celtic fan said about Wilfried Nancy’s system at the club, “It’s early signs but he’s showing signs of being as stubborn as Ange Postecoglou and Brendan Rodgers.

“He got a lot of advice about not introducing his system too quickly but ignored it. The players he has just aren’t good enough.”

And as for the football Celtic supporters are watching, this fan was bang on, “I don’t think Rodgers had any intention of staying beyond his three years anyway. He had run out of ideas and the football was dire (not as dire as under Nancy mind you).”

The Celtic boss’ social media activity isn’t helping his cause as this fan said, “I’d rather my manager not post memes to be honest!”

And one Celtic supporter is exasperated at the quality in the team: “The squad has become stale and predictable with a serious lack of flair, creativity, pace and strength. And that was before all the injuries.”

However, there are some who will never be convinced that Nancy has what it takes to be a successful Celtic manager as this fan sums up the growing apathy at his appointment: “I was never convinced by this appointment and I still think that it’s a bad one.

“He is in way over his head and I do believe he won’t be the manager by the end of the season.”

Celtic fans send a strong message to the Parkhead board

The problems between Celtic supporters and the board have been well documented by 67 Hail Hail for a number of months.

And speaking on the TalkingPoints platform, these Celtic supporters make their feelings perfectly clear what they think of the Parkhead suits.

And as for tonight’s game at Dundee United, one fan has a warning for the Celtic boss and some members of the Hoops hierarchy, “It now looks like he’s [Nancy] in charge at Tannadice. If we lose it becomes damage limitation and he has to go.

“The season is still salvageable. Tisdale has to go with him and Nicholson too.”

And where should Celtic start righting the wrongs of this season? One supporter said, “Start with the boardroom first because they can’t be trusted in any decision they make right now.”

One fan believes enough is enough and drastic actions need to be taken, “It’s time the hardcore Celtic fans stopped turning up at Celtic Park ( season tickets or not). Also boycott away games.

“This ‘faithful through and through’ mantra is keeping that board in place. Tennis balls, silences and not one more penny isn’t working.”

Have to disagree on that one to be honest, but it won’t be long until a boycott is discussed.

And finally, a word of warning to the board about properly backing Nancy in the transfer window as this Celtic fan said, “The recruitment has been a shambles, and now with Nancy not winning games, they either properly back him by bringing in players to suit his system or sack him.”
