It’s no secret that Wilfried Nancy is under pressure.
The Celtic manager was noticeably more animated in his press conference today, as he faced further questions on his methods.
Usually, press conferences are the only place – other than the pitch – where managers to their talking.
But in a move unprecedented in the last decade, Nancy has taken to X (formerly Twitter), 24 hours before the Hoops’ match away to Dundee United.

The diagram he has posted refers to the same mantra that Nancy has repeatedly mentioned already in his press conferences, where he has stated that he doesn’t worry about the things he can’t control.

The post is screenshotted here.

It will certainly be interesting to see if Nancy continues to post on his X account – he could probably do with someone advising him not to.
That’s because the post has already drawn a fair bit of ridicule – both from Celtic and opposition fans – our manager could probably do without that.
But it’s hard not to feel like the pressure is getting to him, when he takes to social media with a post like this the night before a game.
Just one uneventful day, Celtic. It’s all we ask for.
