Celtic could end up facing familiar opponents in the Champions League play-off round.
The Hoops will play either Kairat Almaty or Slovan Bratislava in the Champions League play-off round to determine if they can make it to the main league phase.
Brendan Rodgers knows that regardless of who they play, they will be the favourites to go through, with the first leg held at Celtic Park.
Kairat are unknown territory whereas Bratislava are a side they know all too well after Celtic hammered the Slovakian outfit in the league phase last season.

Slovan Bratislava have no fear about playing Celtic
One person who was part of Celtic’s 5-1 victory against Slovan was goalkeeper Dominik Takac.
It was a night to forget and although he would be keen to bury the demons of that night in Glasgow, the main focus for Takac is to ensure they set up a tie with the Hoops.
He told The Herald: “The only thing that matters at the moment is beating Kairat Almaty and getting the chance to play against Celtic again.
“I’m not exactly jumping two metres in the air for joy over the draw, but nor am I hanging my head in trepidation.
“Everyone at the club is only fighting for this game. Celtic can be looked at later.”
How much will Celtic earn if they reach the Champions League?
Everyone knows that the Champions League money is the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
Last year, the Hoops made just under £40m from their journey to the knockout play-off before losing to Bayern Munich.
This year, if they beat Almaty or Slovan they will bank a starting fee of £15.4m just for getting to the league phase.
It’s that sort of prize money that can make the difference across the season.
