Celtic have learned their Champions League opponents for the knockout playoff round.
The Hoops made it into the latter stages of the competition with some incredible results in the newly revamped League Phase.
RB Leipzig, Young Boys and Slovan Bratislava were all put to the sword at Parkhead.
That earned Brendan Rodgers’ side a crack at the top eight proper but it was always an unlikely run and it was a 21st spot they finished on.
That then left Celts anxious to learn their opponents for the next stage but it was always set to be a glamour tie.
And now, following the draw, it has been confirmed that Celtic will travel to Germany.

Who Celtic will face in Champions League knockout playoff
Bayern Munich will be Celtic’s opponents.
The Hoops avoided Real Madrid who will face Manchester City.
No matter who Celts were to be drawn against would always be an incredibly tough ask but some big name pundits have had their say and were buzzing before this morning’s draw to see who would rock up in Glasgow.
Chris Sutton is adamant Celtic have made progress in the tournament having had difficult campaigns in the past before the tweaks to the competition.
And he feels Rodgers and co. would not be fearful of any opponent who comes next.
Former Man City defender Micah Richards and his CBS Sports co-pundits were also giddy at the thought of Celtic playing either Madrid or Bayern and he explained how it would be “problems” for all involved as the permutations were laid out.
Celtic vs Bayern Munich will be ‘problems’, says Micah Richards
“Man City or Celtic vs Real Madrid or Bayern…problems!” he began.
“But it looks tasty doesn’t it? It looks brilliant.”
The ties are scheduled to take place next month with the fixtures to be played within one week of each other.
The first match will take place on February 11 or 12 with the second leg coming on either February 18 or 19.
