Celtic have learned their opponents for the semi-finals of this season’s Scottish Cup.
Celtic have thus far knocked out Raith Rovers and Hibs this campaign in two relatively comfortable victories.
A 2-0 Celtic win over the Hibees across the weekend thanks to goals from Daizen Maeda and Adam Idah late on saw off David Gray’s game side.
Still, it meant Brendan Rodgers was one step closer to another historic Treble as manager at Celtic Park and now fans know who they will take on at Hampden in the final four.

Celtic to face St Johnstone in Scottish Cup semi-final
The options for Celts were St Johnstone, Hearts and Aberdeen in a decent Scottish Cup semi-final pairing regardless.
But it is the Perth outfit Celts will face off against on their way to another cup final, hopefully, with Simo Valakari guiding his troops past Livingston thanks to a strike from a former Celtic kid in Graham Carey.
Rangers meanwhile were knocked out by Queen’s Park and thus are nowhere to be seen.
And, on paper at least, that gives Celtic their best shot at lifting the trophy again albeit even had the Light Blues been involved, Rodgers and co. would still be overwhelming favourites.
What is Celtic vs St Johnstone head to head results?
That also coincides with the head to head record of Celtic against the Saints which can always be looked at as a guide towards how the match might play out.
In total Scottish Cup ties between the two, they have squared off against each other eight times with Celtic winning seven of those. St Johnstone have won just once.
There have, in those cup fixtures, been 21 goals for Celts and they’ve conceded just seven.
In total across their history, Celtic have beaten St Johnstone 132 times while Saints have won 25.
That bodes well for the tie at the national stadium with Saints also sitting rock bottom of the Scottish Premiership while the Glasgow giants are runaway leaders by 16 points ahead of second spot.
