Well, that was absolutely exhausting last night.
Celtic had a really difficult evening of it at times against Aston Villa but they had moments of genius, too, as they succumbed to defeat down south.
Brendan Rodgers knew top eight was unlikely for his side and all that mattered was the win over Young Boys last week to take them into the knockout playoff.
Still, it might have been nicer to compete for longer than four minutes in the action at Villa Park when the Hoops found themselves 2-0 down thanks to a rapid-fire double from Morgan Rogers.
Incredibly, though, Adam Idah finally found his shooting boots for the club with a majestic double before the half-time break in what was a pulsating, shattering and bizarre matchday eight.
Celts were without top players including Cameron Carter-Vickers and the suspended Daizen Maeda which would always have made it tough.
But they gave it a real good go and made a real fist of it against their English opponents and had only an Ollie Watkins strike and Rogers’ third to mourn which ultimately won the tie 4-2.

John Hartson was in with the Celtic fans at Aston Villa
It was definitely a glamour tie, of sorts, in a Battle of Britain and even had a missed penalty for Watkins – perhaps justice – after a really soft Auston Trusty foul.
That is why some former Celtic players were in attendance including the likes of TNT Sports pundits on duty: Neil Lennon, Martin O’Neill, Stan Petrov and others.
And there was one man who refused hospitality seats for the action and instead chose to sit among the travelling support in a bid to enjoy and soak up the atmosphere.
John Hartson was a man of the people as he revealed he would be ditching the comps for a spot in the away stands.
Celtic and Aston Villa served up an instant Champions League classic
Taking to social media before kick-off, the big Welshman was excited.
“Down at the Villa away #ChampionsLeague in with the fans,” he tweeted.
“F*** the posh seats I’m a fan in the Celtic end!!”
“Mon the Hoops,” with a four-leaf clover emoji accompanying his post.
Celtic were brave and manager Rodgers was bursting with pride at full-time.
