Celtic are in action vs Kilmarnock this evening as their defence of the Scottish Cup trophy begins.

Brendan Rodgers hinted at squad rotation for the visit of Derek McInnes’ Killie and the manager has obliged.

Changes have been made from the XI which could only manage a 3-3 draw at Dundee in what was a disappointing stumble at Dens Park on Tuesday evening.

Rodgers has a deep squad at Celtic and he has never been shy in making tactical decisions in terms of personnel.

Daizen Maeda starts for Celtic as Adam Idah misses out vs Kilmarnock

There is a spot in the starting lineup for Daizen Maeda, Kyogo, Arne Engels and Greg Taylor while Yang and Adam Idah are on the bench.

Maeda has been sidelined for two weeks and missed matches with Dundee and Ross County.

But after Rodgers explained that he would be available for his side should he be called upon, we spotted the Japanese star back on the training pitch in preparation for this one.

Fans have now taken to social media to discuss the starting squad at Parkhead.

And they are divided with the outcome.
