That January transfer window door is set to open in less than a month and there is talk of Celtic looking to be busy.
One area that could be boosted is the striker department. The Asian Cup Games are set to take place in Qatar from January 12 and it could see Celtic trio, Daizen Maeda, Hyeongyu Oh and Kyogo Furuhashi depart, if selected.
All in all, it will put extra pressure on Brendan Rodgers to adapt because, as of this moment, there aren’t obvious solutions, especially up front.
That’s why Aberdeen hitman, Bojan Miovski is being spoken about possibly securing a transfer to Celtic, with Andy Walker claiming that he can see it happening, as he told Go Radio.
Bojan Miovski was on the scoresheet again on Saturday, scoring a crucial goal as struggling Aberdeen came back from behind to beat Hearts.
That’s the 24-year-old sixth Premiership goal, but 12th strike in all competitions this season – more than Celtic’s hitman, Kyogo Furuhashi (eight in 22).
Andy Walker explained what he likes about the North Macedonia star and how he ‘easily fits’ into Brendan Rodgers’ system.
Bojan Miovski at Celtic
“I like him,” said Walker. “I was speaking to Barry (Robson) before about how he is better than a couple of the strikers Rangers have.
“I think he could easily fit into a Celtic team – I think, in general, his game outside of the box. The fact that he scored 18 last season. He already has (12) this time around. He has international experience.
“I think Aberdeen would be a club willing to sell. But at what price? The last thing the Aberdeen fans want to hear is their best player going for cheap in the January window.
“I think £350k, they paid for him. He is a quality player and I think that has been a really good bit of business from Aberdeen. I wouldn’t be surprised if Celtic went to get him. I don’t think they would pay silly money. But I could see him fitting into Celtic’s style of play. I can see him playing for Celtic.”

Should Celtic sign Bojan Miovski?
Look, in terms of what Kyogo produces. He has proven his worth, and even during this iffy patch, he is still the main guy.
As for Oh, for the role he plays, he is doing a superb job and deserves more credit, as he proved with his brace against Hibs.
Therefore, if that striker needs to come in, whilst he can fill in if the above two are absent next month. What happens when they return?
There is no point in bulking up the squad for the sake of it. Attacking players are needed, but perhaps more versatile ones than those who just play as a number nine.
