Celtic transfer target Filip Rozga was hit by objects during Sturm Graz’s 2-0 win against Rapid Vienna in the Austrian Bundesliga.

Rozga was linked with the Bhoys last month following an excellent debut season with Sturm Graz after joining from Cracovia last summer.

The winger featured when Celtic beat the Austrian club in the Europa League earlier this year but was involved in different circumstances as Rapid Vienna supporters targeted the Poland international.

The 2026 transfer window is still months away, but what is the number one position Celtic need to improve this summer?📝

Filip Rozga hit by cups thrown by Rapid Vienna hooligans

The league leaders remain at the top of the table with a win against Rapid Vienna.

Things turned sour shortly after Rozga was substituted as Rapid fans threw cups in his direction.

Despite laughing off the situation, the incident was widely condemned among Austrian media, especially as one of the backroom staff was struck and fell to the floor.

Rapid head coach Johannes Hoff Thorup also said: “I don’t like this at all. Everyone who is part of the game here should be safe.”

Forgotten Celtic flop gets rare outing in Rapid Vienna defeat

While Rozga enjoyed his outing, despite the off-pitch incident, one person who got a rare outing was Marco Tilio.

If not, who is?

Tilio may be in a title race with Rapid but the Australian has struggled to make an impact.

His 19-minute cameo was only his 11th league appearance of the season, where he has rarely started.

It has hardly been the most inspiring of moves since leaving Celtic and his career looks to be stalling.
