Kyogo Furuhashi left Celtic for Rennes in a £10m deal this week.

After a delay in announcing that Kyogo had left Celtic for the Rennes, the Japanese striker is now officially a Ligue 1 player and no longer at Celtic Park.

Rennes announced the purchase of Kyogo literally minutes after Jota joined Celtic and the news left many Hoops supporters heartbroken.

Celtic fans loved the 30-year-old striker as his 85 goals brought seven trophies to Celtic in a successful three-and-a-half-year spell that elevated Kyogo to almost legendary status at the club.

But now that he has sealed his Parkhead exit, Celtic sent the former striker a message that leave fans misty-eyed this morning.
