The latest transfer rumours Chris Sutton is hearing about Celtic is leaving the Hoops hero raging.

67 Hail Hail discussed this morning that Kyogo Furuhashi could be on his way out of Celtic after Rennes are looking to facilitate a Celtic Park exit with a £10m transfer bid.

The French Ligue 1 side are desperate to bolster their attacking options and see Kyogo as the man to do just that with an ‘immediate’ move for the Celtic first-team striker.

The Japanese forward is said to be looking to leave the Hoops to cement his place in Japan’s national squad and sees a move to France as the opportunity to do just that.

However, Celtic hero Chris Sutton has responded to the rumour as he tells the Parkhead club they need to think very carefully about who Brendan Rodgers gets in to replace the talismanic striker.

Chris Sutton tells Celtic he is ‘really not keen’ on Kyogo leaving the club

Taking to social media, Sutton said that if the Kyogo move happens, Celtic must have someone ‘pretty special’ lined up to replace the Japan man’s 85 goals.

Sutton said, “All the rumours doing the rounds regarding ins and outs at Celtic. The one thing I really am not keen on is Kyogo leaving in January, especially with CL and domestic to play for.

“If that’s the case his replacement will have to be pretty special and have to hit the ground running.”

How Kyogo Furuhashi terrorised Rangers at Celtic

Kyogo took a wee bit of time to get his Celtic goalscoring account against Rangers up and running but when he did, the 30-year-old couldn’t stop.

The Celtic striker has scored in all but one domestic competition against the Ibrox club as he terrorised Rangers over his four years at the club.

The most iconic performance against Rangers was when the Celtic hero did this against them in last season’s League Cup final:

Like Sutton, if Kyogo does move on the Celtic supporters will be hoping that Brendan Rodgers has someone very special lined up if the Japanese striker does leave in January.
