Reported Celtic managerial target Enzo Maresca has already sampled Celtic Park on a Champions League night.
The Manchester City coach is said to be on Celtic‘s radar with the Premier League side expecting an official approach after Saturday’s Champions League final.
Maresca was interviewed for the Hoops job back in 2021 and may be viewed as the front-runner this time around.

Back in the day, the Italian was a terrific midfielder who played for the likes of Sevilla, Juventus, West Brom and Palermo.
While he was part of the Sevilla side who won the UEFA Cup at Hampden Park in 2007, his experiences of Glasgow weren’t always positive.
In his days with Italian giants Juventus, Maresca was drawn in a 2001 Champions League group with Celtic — the first time we had ever entered the group stage.
He was an unused substitute in our 3-2 loss in Turin but did start in the epic matchday six clash at Celtic Park.
Maresca played 81 minutes (UEFA) on a scintillating night as Juve fell to a 4-3 defeat against Moravcik, Larsson, Sutton and co.
That night is undoubtedly one of our greatest in the 21st century, although there is strong competition in the shape of wins over Manchester United, Barcelona, AC Milan and more.

Maresca will be all too familiar with how noisy Celtic Park can be when things are going well. That may be no bad thing if he is entrusted with the big job.
For now, we’re not really sure what route the key decision makers at Celtic will take.
All we know is that Maresca is a candidate.
