Celtic fans will finally get the chance to celebrate their fourth title in a row at Parkhead in the game against Hibs this afternoon.
Brendan Rodgers wrapped up the title after Celtic battered Dundee United at Tannadice but that was over two weeks ago now.
Since then, the Hoops have had to travel to Ibrox as champions as Celtic drew with Rangers in front of 2000 travelling supporters.
But now, at Celtic Park, 60,000 fans will get the chance to celebrate with Rodgers and Hoops first-team but it will need to be done without a world-famous Green Brigade tifo after the Ultra group’s announcement last night.

Green Brigade call out Celtic after club’s stance on title-winning tifo
Celtic fans will remember the tifo for Hoops hero Joe Hart last season where they paid tribute to the retiring goalkeeper on trophy day.
It was a thing of beauty and fans would have liked to have seen what they would have unfurled at today’s game to pay tribute to their Celtic heroes title-winning season.
But that will not be happening after the Green Brigade shared Celtic’s stance last night.
In a statement released on X, the Ultras said, “Unfortunately, the club has refused tomorrow’s NCC tifo. This is a continued sanction due to the Green Brigade’s ‘Red Card’ and Bik McFarlane tifos.
“Despite repeated attempts, the club has refused to meet with the Green Brigade since November 2023.”
It’s strange how the club appear to be ‘open to scheduling a meeting to discuss these matters’ but months down the line have not made an attempt to do so.
Celtic fans send a furious message to the Parkhead board of Green Brigade tifo statement
The Green Brigade tifos do a fantastic job of celebrating the club and creating colour and atmosphere that even UEFA have hailed the Celtic fans for their outstanding display in that famous win over Barcelona in 2012.
However, now that news has sunk in that there will be no display this afternoon, many Celtic supporters are fuming at the decision.
One fan replied, “Four in a row sealed, on the brink of a world record 9th treble, overtook Rangers’ trophy haul, everyone looking forward to the finale of the season to celebrate the achievements. Except the Celtic board. Get them in the bin.”
Another Celtic supporter was furious with the decision and said raged at their silence over Rangers fans throwing bottles at Celtic players:
One Celtic fan raised a great point about the club profiting over past tifos the Green Brigade have made and said, “Fair enough if they don’t agree with some of them but how much money have the club made off the back of selling merch featuring tifos? Football is Nothing without the fans.”
Another Celtic fan simply replied:
Another fan said, “Disappointing that there can’t be dialogue on this.” as another replied, “Another reason why I’m giving up 3 books this year. Our board are a joke.”
Today is all about celebrating the Celtic players’ on yet another fantastic title achievement and whilst the tifo would have added a nice touch to the day, it won’t detract from 60,000 supporters having a party inside Celtic Park.
