Celtic have a list of players out on loan this season and the success levels have been varied.
There are 10 Celtic players loaned out to other clubs this term with the likes of Luis Palma and Gustaf Lagerbielke doing fine while others such as Stephen Welsh with KV Mechelen has started slowly.
But if Welsh has had a stuttering start with seven appearances in Belgium since making his switch from Celtic, there’s another player who has struggled even more than that.
It has been a rough year for Norwegian Odin Thiago Holm who has been out of Brendan Rodgers‘ Celtic plans since the Irishman arrived.

Odin Holm finally made his LAFC debut on loan from Celtic
Holm was classed as Rodgers’ first signing of his second stint as manager at Parkhead but the 22-year-old was realistically a target for Ange Postecoglou before he departed for Tottenham.
His most recent Celtic appearance was in a 15 minute cameo all the way back in August when his side beat St Mirren 3-0, but after Holm left for LAFC on loan in the January transfer window, he has had to wait longer for minutes on the pitch.
Finally, though, Holm made his Los Angeles debut in their 2-0 away victory over Sporting Kansas City.
It was a moment that has been a long time coming for the young player who may only have been given three or four minutes on the grass, but it certainly points to more opportunities heading his way before the end of the campaign.
Why fans feared Holm’s Celtic career could be over
Holm is tied down on his loan until the end of 2025 so he still has plenty of time to make an impact.
We at 67 Hail Hail hope he does just that after he signed for Celtic to talk of having a good reputation as a promising young player. Of course he is yet to live up to that reputation but any time away from Glasgow to try and play week-in, week-out will surely help.
We told you how there had been confusion as to why Holm was not in Celtic’s squad picture as the glaring omission.
But his loan move cleared that up. He was also left out of Celtic’s Champions League squad this season.
