Former Celtic midfielder Tommy Gravesen has tweeted his thanks to fans after returning to Glasgow for Sunday’s Open Goal live-show.
The mercurial Dane was the headline guest at the hit podcast’s sold-out Hydro show, as he shared stories from his days at Celtic Park and beyond.
Gravesen’s return was a high-profile one, given his reputation with the Celtic support and the Open Goal audience.

Yesterday, we told you of his class touch in donating his Hydro fee to the Celtic Foundation – something that went down well with the Hoops faithful.
And now the 45-year-old has had his say on Twitter, on what must have been a special weekend for him.
Gravesen tweeted a video of his entrance on to the stage, with the humble words: “Thank you every single one…..”
He included the Twitter handle of former Celtic midfielder on Open Goal host Si Ferry.
The post was retweeted by Open Goal to their 90,000 followers.
Open Goal have made Celtic fans love Gravesen again
Gravesen was probably a disappointing signing in all honestly, so it’s some achievement that he’s managed to carve out a status as a Celtic favourite in the years since departing the club.
Of course Open Goal has helped with that, but Celtic fans also just appreciate people with a bit of character and honesty.

Gravesen clearly has a lot of love for Celtic, and that won’t have gone unnoticed either.
Maybe we’ll get him back home doing the Paradise Windfall at some stage in the future.
If Celtic are feeling brave enough.
