Former NFL quarterback and ESPN analyst Dan Orlovsky has shown his support to Celtic after the Scottish Premiership season got underway this weekend.
Over the years, we have seen many popular figures from across the globe involved with sports show their support by wearing the famous green and white Hoops.
These include the likes of MMA/WWE reporter Ariel Helwani, who recently took to social media to state that he was now a Celtic fan ‘for life’ after receiving last season’s home top.

The latest huge name in sports to take to his 445,500 followers on Twitter and show his support for Celtic was ex-NFL quarterback Dan Orlovsky.
The 38-year-old, who turned out for teams such as the Detroit Lions and the Houston Texans, is also now well-known for his work as an analyst on ESPN.
Ahead of the Bhoys’ Scottish Premiership opener against Aberdeen on Sunday, Orlovsky posted a video on social media, wearing a Celtic shirt.
In the 10-second video, which just under 70,000 people have tuned into, he stated that Ange Postecoglou’s side was the ‘greatest soccer team in the world’.
Orlovsky wouldn’t have been left disappointed had he been able to catch Celtic’s first game of the season, with the Hoops taking home all three points in a 2-0 victory over Aberdeen.
It is great to see another extremely popular figure showing his support for the club as we continue to grow in popularity around the world.
I am not sure how likely it is that we will see Orlovsky taking in a game at Paradise. However, as always, the supporters would welcome him to Glasgow with open arms.
Maybe, for now, Orlovsky will join his local Celtic supporter’s club to cheer on the Hoops back home!
