Celtic created a huge piece of history by progressing in the Champions League after beating Young Boys.
The Parkhead club are set to bank more millions after securing a playoff place after the Celtic Park win over Young Boys this week.
The result leaves the Swiss champions rooted to the bottom of UEFA’s elite league after Young Boys labelled the defeat as ‘bitter’ on their official website.
Speaking after the game, Gabby Agbonlahor highlights why Celtic ‘deserved’ the win with a message to the salty Champions League basement boys.

Gabby Agbonlahor in no doubt that Celtic ‘deserved’ to beat Young Boys
Celtic have to face Aston Villa in the final round of the Champions League next Wednesday and whilst looking ahead to the game, Agbonlahor sent a ‘that’s football’ message to Young Boys.
Agbonlahor told talkSPORT, “The goal that they scored if it didn’t get deflected in Idah would have been so disappointed because he’s got to lift it a little bit and he would have scored.
“But they deserved that luck. That’s football.”
Why Gabby Agbonlahor also apologised to Celtic fans
The former Aston Villa man is also a self-confessed follower of Celtic and has attended many games at Celtic Park.
However, Agbonlahor issued an apology to Celtic fans after the win over Young Boys after he demanded Villa go for goals against Brendan Rodgers’ team.
Agbonlahor said, “Villa Park, Wednesday. Wow, will be some atmosphere! UTV.
“Celtic, you are in the top 24, which is great news! But Villa, we need to have our scoring boots on, (because) if we better Leverkusen’s scoreline, (then) we go above them! We need goals, goals, goals. I am sorry, Celtic!”
Rodgers will be confident of securing a result against the Premier League club but will have to figure out how to do it without Kyogo Furhashi who is working his Celtic exit to Rennes this week.
