Gordon Dalziel is ‘with the Celtic fans’ over their issues with the Parkhead board this season as tensions continue to rise.
The Superscorboard pundit has explained why he’s backing the Celtic fan action against the board as Dalziel explains how he thinks they have not ‘been treated fairly’.
The Celtic Fans Collective was formed in response to supporter fury on how the club has regressed in the transfer market, in Europe and domestic competitions, all the while the Celtic board sit on tens of millions of pounds lying dormant in the bank.
You can pick one member of the Celtic board to banish…
Who do you pick first?
As Celtic fans boycotted the Dundee Scottish Cup tie, Dalziel admits he supports their action, especially after witnessing the events unfolding in the Hoops’ win at Kilmarnock last weekend.

Gordon Dalziel is ‘with the Celtic fans’ over board issues
Celtic fans are looking to end the ban on the Green Brigade ban in a bid to get every supporter behind the team for the title run in.
And it seems that is something the radio pundit is fully on board with.
Dalziel said on Superscoreboard, “I think that I said it before, when Celtic, especially at Celtic Park about boycotts, right now for me, and I get it, I’m with the Celtic fans, I think that they’ve been not treated the way they should with their team and the signings.
“And I can understand the anger and everything, the backing of the manager, everything that goes with it.
“But because of the situation right now, I think the players appreciate the backing. Martin O’Neill appreciates the backing.
“And of course you do as a player. Cillian’s played there, he’ll understand it. When you’ve got that atmosphere, you’ve got that backing of the support, it gives you the little bit extra.
“And you look at the celebrations when they put in the third goal as well. So I’m totally with them. I think that the support should stay with them.
“Yes, at the end of the season, have your opinion, but right now I think the Celtic players need them.”
When the Celtic fan ban could end
With rumours of meetings happening soon between representatives of the Celtic Fans Collective and the board, hopefully this ban will come to an end real soon.
Unfortunately, the ban won’t end in time for Celtic’s game against Stuttgart tomorrow night, but with huge games against Hibs, Rangers and Aberdeen coming up, hopefully the board see sense and reinstate the Green Brigade ASAP.
As fans have seen recently, the atmosphere at Celtic Park is not the same without the Ultras driving the colour and the passion.
And as seen from Celtic’s win at Kilmarnock, having every fan behind the team helps to drive what looks like the impossible.
