The Green Brigade have revealed that Rangers have banned the Celtic TIFO organised for today’s Scottish Cup quarter-final at Ibrox, but the plan to ‘Free Broomloan’ is well underway.

The second Glasgow Derby in a week is bound to be more colourful than last week’s draw where Celtic drew with Rangers after fighting back from 2-0 down.

With 7,500 Celtic fans in attendance, the Ibrox club refused the Bhoys’ TIFO request, but the Green Brigade have shared instructions for fans to follow at the Rangers turnstiles.

Green Brigade plan to ‘Free Broomloan’ after Rangers ban Celtic TIFO

The Celtic Ultras are undeterred as they give fans instructions on how to defy the Rangers TIFO ban.

Taking to X the Green Brigade said, “Unfortunately a Celtic tifo has been refused for tomorrow’s derby by the home club.

“In spite of this, the Green Brigade will distribute materials to the Celtic support at the turnstiles to ensure the Free Broomloan is painted green, white and orange. Please pick up materials at the turnstiles or approach

“Use the material only when the team enters the pitch.

“Your participation and timing is crucial to the effect of the tifo and creating a wall of colour in the Free Broomloan.”

Will Celtic end Green Brigade ban?

Celtic plan to meet the Green Brigade tomorrow to try and thrash out the issues the club have with the Ultras group.

250 fans remain locked out indefinitely and many view Celtic’s stance as controversial and unfair as the blanket ban of fans in the North Curve continues.

As yet, there have been no details given of Celtic’s concerns with allowing the Green Brigade back into Parkhead, but one thing is certain.

If Celtic end the ban, then it will give Martin O’Neill and the team a huge boost for the title run in and it will also ease tensions with the wider support.

It’s a win-win for Celtic, but will they take this opportunity to do the right thing?
