Jota made a dream return to Celtic after scoring with the last kick of the ball in the win against Motherwell.
The Portuguese winger looked dangerous and Jota was unlucky not to score for Celtic after his left-footed volley drifted just wide of the Motherwell post minutes after coming on at Fir Park.
Celtic beat Motherwell after goals from Daizen Maeda and Adam Idah put the Hoops 2-1 ahead and as the game looked like it was fading into a narrow win, Jota stepped up to do this:
It was an incredible debut cameo for Jota and it was one that impressed Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers.

Brendan Rodgers hails Jota’s ‘tricks’ after goalscoring Celtic debut vs Motherwell
Rodgers told Sky Sports, “He’s obviously a long way away from the fitness level that he would need to be at to be in the team but he’s certainly got to build himself there.
“But what you can see in that cameo was his quality. He has tricks, he has the ability, he’s a Celtic winger. He really can beat someone. He looks after the ball, he can run in behind and he has an eye for a goal.
“So pleased for him. It has been a really challenging period for him in his time away but he knows that everyone appreciates him here. Everyone loves him here, so to get that goal at the end was just a real great finish to the game for us.”
