Al Ettifaq — the Saudi Pro League club managed by Steven Gerrard — sent out a Celtic based post on Wednesday.
The Dammam-based club have made two interesting recent signings, as we’ve been telling you on the site.
Former Celtic pair Jack Hendry and Moussa Dembele have both joined the club, while Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson is set to join them in the coming days. (Sky Sports)
When announcing Hendry and Dembele, Al Ettifaq posted a bit of a head-scratching post on Instagram.
In it they wrote: “What’s better than one Bhoy? The Bhoys x2”, while including a strange two-part image of two hands each holding a four-leaf clover.
It was all a bit bizarre but we can expect that in Saudi Arabia after Al-Ittihad’s announcement of Jota a few weeks ago.

The Al-Ettifaq post even got a response from Gerrard. The ex-Rangers manager was clearly playing to the gallery as replied “We are the people” under the images. Whatever that means.
For all of Gerrard’s posturing online, it is amusing that he has so far chosen to sign two former Celtic players rather than go for any of his ex-Rangers stars.
Dembele should at least hit it up for him in the Saudi Pro League, not that too many Celtic supporters will be taking much notice.
