Away from the Celtic AGM row for a moment as fans look ahead to the team creating headlines on the pitch for a change.

The Europa League is up next for Celtic before the trip to Easter Road for a tricky Scottish Premiership clash with Hibernian.

David Gray’s side lost 2-0 to Motherwell last night and had a player sent off. Another also appears to be missing the visit of Celtic on Sunday due to injury.

And here, the Hibs boss reacted to the defeat to Motherwell as he admits he’s ‘not looking forward’ to Martin O’Neill’s Bhoys’ visit.

Hibs boss David Gray is worried as Ellie Youan and Grant Hanley miss Celtic clash

Grant Hanley was given an automatic red card after a VAR check adjudged he denied the Well a clear and obvious goalscoring opportunity.

And with Ellie Youan’s ongoing injury problems, Gray admits that the visit of Celtic is one he appears to be dreading.

Gray told BBC Radio Scotland, “Yeah, I think naturally, we pick a team every week that we think gives us the best chance to win a game.

“One thing I won’t be doing is just moving on quickly for this game.

“I know people will say it’s a quick turnaround, it’s not that quick, we’ve got time to digest this one. We’ll be in tomorrow, we’ll have to review it so it doesn’t happen again.

“We’ll have to make sure we understand what let ourselves down, so that doesn’t happen again and we stick together.

“We’ll look forward to, not look forward, but there’s a game on Sunday and we’ve got an opportunity at home to try and get a reaction from tonight.”

Celtic’s last 10 results against Hibernian

Celtic have a great record against Hibs and as the last ten results have shown, the Parkhead club are dominant in this fixture.

The last time Hibs beat Celtic was in February this year in a 2-1 win at Easter Road. However, the Hoops have been dominant as the other nine fixtures produced 19 Celtic goals.

The biggest Celtic win was the 4-1 thrashing in December 2023 at Parkhead as the Bhoys’ impressive record over the capital club continues.
