This has certainly been a week for people in the game confessing that they want to see Celtic win the Scottish Cup.
First up it was Lee Johnson of Hibs admitting that he wants to see the Hoops lift the cup. And yesterday, Aberdeen star Ylber Ramadani also said he will be rooting for Ange Postecoglou’s men as a win would guarantee The Dons European group-stage football.
But this time, it’s slightly different. This time we have a Celtic fan in Scott Kellacher working as a coach at Inverness Caley Thistle. And despite his affection for the Hoops, he is still targeting a win on Saturday for the Highland club in the Scottish Cup Final.

Kellacher said [The Sun], “I was a Celtic fan as a kid and it was a dream to sign for them in 1996. I was there for two years, but it didn’t work out and I was released.
“It’s never changed my feelings for Celtic. But all I want on Saturday is an Inverness win, that would be amazing.”
Kellacher was signed as a schoolboy after a trial at Celtic in 1994. He scored in a 4-1 win over Rangers after being spotted by Tommy Burns and Davie Hay.

Although he signed a professional contract, Kellacher never made a first-team appearance for Celtic and he was eventually allowed to leave to join Inverness Caley Thistle.
Kellacher has spent most of his professional career at Inverness Caley Thistle and was speaking out about his battle with a serious illness as well as COVID-19 when he opened up on his Celtic past.
We are glad to see Kellacher on the mend but we also hope that his team don’t win on Saturday and that Celtic will oversee Inverness to bring home the treble.
