Inverness Caledonian Thistle have released ticket details for next month’s Scottish Cup final against Celtic.

On June 3, the Hoops will bid for a fifth domestic treble in seven seasons with Caley the only side standing in our way.

The game is likely to see Celtic’s biggest cup final support in years, with around 40,000 Celts in attendance.

There will also be a contingent of Highlanders in attendance, with Inverness announcing ticket information on their website on Wednesday afternoon.

Their season ticket holders will be able to purchase up to eight tickets per person from Thursday at 10am.

From next Tuesday, tickets will go on “general release” with up to eight again being available for purchase per person.

Regular tickets in some sections will cost as much as £45 and Celtic fans can expect to pay the same.

The Highland side seem more than a bit worried about the prospect of Celtic fans buying tickets for their end of Hampden.

In a bolded paragraph they warned: “IMPORTANT – These tickets are strictly for ICTFC fans and anyone attempting to sell any tickets to outside parties will have ALL of the tickets they bought cancelled and rendered unusable on the day.

“Similarly, any non-ICTFC fans found in the Caley Thistle section of the Stadium will be removed by stewards immediately.”

Given that anyone will be able to purchase up to eight tickets directly from Inverness next week, you’d guess that more than a few Celtic fans will be pondering that move.

Tickets in the Celtic end are likely to be like gold dust again with a treble on the line.

It’s going to be interesting to see how this one plays out.
