Rangers fans have spent the past 24 hours or so ranting and raving about how good Nico Raskin apparently is.
The midfielder was their captain for their 3-0 win over Celtic yesterday afternoon on a day where the Hoops underperformed significantly.
Celtic supporters were divided on the performance with many slaughtering the squad while others took stock of where the club are in the Scottish Premiership division compared to their rivals.
But it was, indeed, a nightmare result for Brendan Rodgers who admitted Rangers were the better side at full-time.

That can hardly be questioned and Ally McCoist claimed Callum McGregor has had his “card marked” by Gers who nullified the Parkhead captain.
Yet it was an incident involving CalMac which prompted Belgian Raskin into some interesting comments at full-time which could be cause for concern at Ibrox.
He claimed it was “weird” that referee Don Robertson showed him a yellow card and not McGregor at half-time as the pair were involved in a mild handbags scuffle on the pitch.
McGregor had already been cautioned in the first-45 and Raskin could not understand why he was not shown a second booking.
Raskin claims ref Don Robertson did not want to send off McGregor
“I just didn’t understand you know,” Raskin said after the game.
“Because McGregor and me we had some contact.
”The referee wanted, I think he wanted to book us both, so looked at him and remembered he had a yellow and then just book me.
”So it was a bit unfair for me because if you book me you have to book him, we’ve done the same thing both.
”So yeah it’s just a bit weird.”

Raskin continued to argue his case against his own yellow as he insisted the whistler should have booked both or neither.
”I was calm. I was just explaining to the ref that it’s unfair because if you want to book, you book both players,” he added.
“You don’t book one and not the other one.
”The referee explained to me that he just didn’t really see but then, you book no-one or you book both.”
Criticising referees often brings a punishment with it and it will be interesting to see whether or not the Scottish FA react to Raskin’s words.
