Celtic fans continue to celebrate their title win after that epic showdown against Hearts on Saturday.
As soon as Callum Osmand’s goal hit the back of the net, and Celtic fans invaded the pitch to celebrate, James McClean knew what was coming.
The former Republic of Ireland star posted on his Instagram story:

‘Meltdown for (the) ages incoming’, which has now proven to be correct.
It’s understandable that many wanted Hearts to win the title; at the end of the day, they are the underdogs, and everyone loves an underdog story.
But Celtic’s dominance continues to cause chaos amongst those who don’t even follow Scottish football on a regular basis.
That includes the likes of Simon Jordan having to be shut down by Chris Sutton, so McClean was correct in his prediction.

James McClean calls for Martin O’Neill to get a statue
Even before O’Neill could guide Celtic to the title, there were calls for him to get a statue outside of Parkhead.
67 Hail Hail even stated that O’Neill should have a statue, regardless of what he does this season, because he is one of the true modern-day greats at the club.
But this title win just increases that noise, and Celtic-mad McClean has added his name to the list, as he continued on his IG story by stating: ‘Build that man a f____ing statue.’

McClean hails the stability O’Neill has brought to Celtic
Yes, Celtic should celebrate this title win, and then turn their attention to the Scottish Cup final against Neil Lennon’s Dunfermline Athletic.
But it still shouldn’t paper over the massive cracks that have appeared this season.
Stability needs to be brought back, that’s starting with appointing a manager who can take the club forward in the years to come, as McClean continued to hit the nail on the head about O’Neill on his IG story:

‘Isn’t it remarkable what having a good manager does to a team?’ said McClean. ‘Good squad of players already there that just needed a bit of guidance, confidence back and good management. Some job 👏.’
