Wilfried Nancy’s start to life at Celtic has been anything but a success so far.
With two defeats to his name, the Frenchman is already under serious pressure to deliver and has the small matter of the Premier Sports Cup final to deal with.
Nancy has already hinted at changes after sticking with the same starting XI in his 3-4-3 formation across the first two games, but there are some that haven’t looked capable of stepping up to the plate.
Would you rather have wing-backs or a striker join the club in January?
James McPake singles out struggling Celtic duo
The obvious area of the pitch where Celtic have had the most trouble is in the wing-back role.
Sebastian Tounekti and Hyunjun Yang have both filled in that role for the first two games but looked out of their depth.
Tounekti will be heading to the Africa Cup of Nations after the game against St Mirren, which leaves the Frenchman with even fewer options for the role.
However, James McPake believes that the pair are the weak link in the side and that it is affecting the team as a whole.
Speaking on the Go Radio Football Show, he said: With Tounekti and Yang in that system, the balance for me is all over the place.
“Regardless of whether it’s going to be domestically or in European football, I think that two out and out wingers will struggle in that system the way they have been struggling.”

Which Celtic players can play at wing-back?
With January just around the corner, short-term solutions will need to be found in the wing-back department.
Kieran Tierney, Marcelo Saracchi, Alistair Johnston, Anthony Ralston and Colby Donovan all appear to be the best suited.
Has Sebastian Tounekti got what it takes to be a Celtic winger?
But, with injuries to Johnston and Saracchi, as well as Tierney being used as one of the three centre-backs, that narrows down the choices.
Donovan looked the best out of the lot in the position against Roma, while Daizen Maeda could also fill in as a left wing-back if desperately needed now that Kelechi Iheanacho is fit again.
