Celtic goalkeeper Joe Hart has paid tribute to goalkeeping coach Stevie Woods and fellow shot-stoppers Scott Bain, Toby Oluwayemi and Vasilis Barkas for their part to play in this season’s title win.

Since his arrival from Tottenham Hotspur last summer, the Englishman has been a critical figure in Ange Postecoglous’s new-look Celtic side.

The signing of Hart was questioned by many in Scotland. However, the veteran has rejuvenated his career after a difficult few years at several clubs.

Hart has become a fan’s favourite amongst the Celtic support, not only for his performances on the pitch but also for his attitude off it.

The former Manchester City man is one of the key leaders in this Hoops team and is also clearly well-liked within the dressing room.

This afternoon, Hart paid tribute to both Scott Bain and Stevie Woods on Instagram for their roles behind the scenes this season, having worked closely with the 35-year old all season.

The shot-stopper also mentioned backup goalkeepers Vasilias Barkas and youngster Tobi Oluwayemi who have had their involvements with the first team.

Having helped Hart to get back to his best, the goalkeeper shares a close relationship with goalkeeping coach Stevie Woods.

In the aftermath of last weekend’s win over Hearts, which all but secured the Premiership title, the duo shared a close moment of celebration.

Bain may have only been back-up this season, but again, he seems like a prominent character in the dressing room who holds a brilliant relationship with Joe Hart.

The roles of everyone behind the scenes can’t be forgotten after such an incredible season, and it is good to see Hart paying tribute to those who helped massively this campaign.
