Young Celtic trio – Magnus MacKenzie, Josh Dede and Rory Mahady – are set to feature on the international stage as Scotland prepares to participate in the u17 European Championships this week.
The Scotland u17s side, managed by former Celtic winger Brian McLaughlin, secured their place at the tournament taking place in Israel in late March.
With the tournament kicking off this week, Scotland is set to face Portugal, Denmark and Sweden across the next week as part of the group stage section of the Championships.
Featuring as part of that young Scotland side are three up-and-coming Celtic youngsters.
Josh Dede, who has recently signed his first professional contract with the club, is likely to feature at right-back for the under-17s in Israel.
The 16-year old is an exciting prospect coming out of the Celtic academy system and looks to have real potential to play in the Hoops’ first team at some point in the future.

On the opposite flank, Magnus MacKenzie is the chosen left-back of this team, with the full-back pairing both having a regular spot in the B side at Celtic Park to finish the season.
Rory Mahady, on the other hand, isn’t expected to have a starting spot in this team at just 15-years old.
However, the young Celtic goalkeeper is very highly regarded and has previously caught the attention of English Premier League sides such as Manchester City and Leeds United.
For Scotland, the tournament kicks off tomorrow evening (6 PM) against Portugal before taking on Denmark this Friday (12:30 PM) and finishing off the group stages against Sweden a week today (6 PM).
For those who want to watch the potential players of the future in this country, each group stage game will be broadcast on BBC IPlayer and the BBC Sport website.
