Jota’s first video message to Celtic fans after returning to Paradise from Rennes

Jota made his big move to Celtic from Rennes this week after weeks of speculation.

Celtic announced the Jota deal yesterday afternoon and the news upset the Rennes fans who raged at their club for allowing the Portuguese winger to return to Celtic Park.

Jota spent two incredible years at Celtic before he left in the summer of 2023 to make a £25m move from the Bhoys to Al-Ittihad.

Now back in Paradise, Jota has sent his first message to the Celtic fans with whom he enjoyed a close bond in his first spell at the club.

Jota ‘very happy’ as he delivers message to Celtic fans about Bhoys return

Short and sweet, Jota looked overjoyed as the Portuguese winger too to Celtic’s YouTube channel to deliver his first message to the Hoops support.

Jota said, “Hello, Celtic fans, this is Jota. Very happy to be back and I can’t wait to see you all in Paradise. See you soon.”

Jota could make his Celtic debut against Motherwell this weekend as the 25-year-old looks to get his career back on track after disastrous spells in Ligue 1 and the Saudi Pro League.
