Celtic looked like a team desperate to prove a point against Dundee.
Dundee were taught a serious lesson at Celtic Park as Brendan Rodgers’ side ran out 6-0 winners in a Scottish Premiership rout in Glasgow.
Daizen Maeda is the Celtic man of the moment after his double raised the roof off of Celtic Park in a way that Storm Eowyn could only dream of.
However, it’s not Maeda who Peter Grant was waxing lyrical about as the Celtic hero picked out one of Brendan Rodgers’ transfer signings as the man who he thinks strikes ‘fear’ into the Parkhead opposition.

Peter Grant hails ‘wonderful’ Celtic player
Grant is a huge admirer of Portuguese winger, Jota, and the former Celtic midfielder says he is going to give every fullback he comes up against a big problem.
Grant told Celtic TV, “Just fear to the opposition. He’s got the talent, he’s got quick feet.
“He went down the outside, which is great because I think that’s important when you’re a wide player, they give the full-back a problem.
“His individual skill, his willingness to receive the ball, his touch is wonderful with the outside of the boot. So everything we’ve created really down that side, we’re just waiting on him doing something.”
Peter Grant says Celtic fans love the ‘maverick’ in Jota
Whilst Grant was praising Jota to the hilt, he also made a prediction about the 25-year-old that will send chills down every SPFL defender’s spine.
Grant continued, “He’s got that wee bit of a maverick about him. I don’t mean that in a cheeky way. I mean that in the best possible way because that’s what you come to see.
“Even his bad touch becomes a good one. That’s what the good players do, because the ball will rattle off someone and it looks like a great skill from them.
“But he’s a talented, talented boy and I think he’s only going to get better.”
From what Celtic fans have seen of Jota already, it really is a scary prospect to think that Grant is correct, the winger will get better as the season goes on.
If he’s this good now, what will Jota be like come the start of next season with a full pre-season under his belt?
