Celtic have a string of top performers enjoying themselves this campaign as the Bhoys continue to go from strength to strength under Brendan Rodgers.
While international football enters the forefront over the next couple of weeks, the reigning Scottish Premiership champions come into the break on a brilliant run of form that has positioned themselves nicely for a tilt at domestic and European success.
Last weekend, a hard-fought 2-0 Celtic victory at Kilmarnock, courtesy of Callum McGregor and Nicolas Kuhn, retained Brendan Rodgers’ unbeaten league record this term, ensuring his side remain at the summit despite close attention from Aberdeen.

Overwhelming positivity has engulfed Parkhead, with players continuing to hit the right notes under the expectation of a support that demand strong performances to accompany winning results every week.
However, praise for the Bhoys’ start to the season isn’t just reserved in Celtic circles, as even Kris Boyd can’t help but notice one shining star in Glasgow’s east end.
Kris Boyd makes surprise Nicolas Kuhn observation
Speaking to Sunsport, Boyd admitted that Nicolas Kuhn’s ‘exceptional’ form this campaign has put him in the box seat as a potential Player of the Year candidate, claiming that if the accolade was to be given out just now, he would be the standout contender.
He explained: “The real moment of class in the game was by Nicolas Kuhn to get away. Maybe an experienced defender like Robbie Deas should probably have just taken one for the team there, fouled him, and pulled him back because you know as soon as he’s the other side of you, it’s very difficult to get back when somebody’s travelling at that speed the other side of the box.
“Once he gets away, his touch across David Watson and then to fire it away in the far corner. You’ve got to say, if there was to be a player of the year named right now, he hands down has been exceptional for Celtic and caused everybody problems.
“Not only in the Scottish Premiership, we saw him dismantle Aberdeen last week, but also in the Champions League as well. From where he was last season to where he is now is night and day, he was outstanding.”
Nicolas Kuhn’s unstoppable Celtic form rolls on
Last week, Kuhn’s three-goal contribution for Celtic against Leipzig and Kilmarnock capped a wonderful few days for the German winger, who is enjoying a heel-turn regarding his Parkhead career that nobody would’ve expected to change in such fashion.
On the face of it, he wasn’t terrible in his first few months at the Bhoys, but early problems with illness made it difficult for the former Rapid Vienna man to stake a proper claim.
However, his issues are well and truly behind him now. Kuhn has ten strikes and 11 assists in 17 outings this season, exceeding a goal contribution a game at the November mark.
When even the likes of Boyd are sitting up and taking notice, you know as a fan that you have a special player within the ranks!
