Looking ahead to the Celtic fixture, Dundee United star Krisztian Keresztes delivers his verdict on the Hoops as the Tannadice defender sounds wary about the visit of the Scottish champions.

Keresztes, who scored in United’s 2-1 win against Celtic in December, has been reflecting on United’s last two results, where they have drawn with Dundee and lost to Falkirk and warns that to beat ‘the best team in the league’, United have to be better against Celtic.

Krisztian Keresztes admits Celtic ‘are the best team in the league’ ahead of Tannadice clash

Another away trip awaits Celtic and as Dundee United look to chase down Falkirk in sixth place, Keresztes warns his teammates they have to perform better to get anything from the Bhoys.

The Hungarian told the Daily Record, “We have to learn from this and keep going. We cannot get ourselves down and lick our wounds. We have to prepare for Celtic, who are chasing the title.

“They are the best team in the league or one of the best. We have to show character, build on it and keep going.

“It will be difficult but we have to prepare somehow for that game. We have to learn from our mistakes.”

To be the best team in the league, you need to be sitting on top of the table. Celtic have not been there for the last 23 weeks as Hearts lead the chasing pack.

However, as detailed this week, McInnes’ Hearts form is a myth and it’s Celtic’s failings that have allowed the Tynecastle club to be title contenders.
