The Hoops striker has been in incredible form for Ange Postecoglou’s side. Scoring 25 goals in 34 SPFL appearances, Kyogo is also the league’s top goalscorer with two league fixtures remaining.

The Japanese international adds this award to the treble he picked up at the Celtic Player of the Year Awards.

Kyogo won the PFA Player of the Year, the Top Goalscorer and Celtic’s Player of the Year.

Kyogo continues to go from strength to strength for Celtic

Proving to be a crucial player for the Celtic in his maiden season for the club, Kyogo has stepped up again with some very important goals for the club this year.

Breaking his scoring duck against Rangers in the 2-2 draw at Ibrox in January gave the Japanese striker’s confidence a huge boost. He has now scored five goals in all competitions against our closest rivals, which includes his League Cup Final double that helped secure the season’s first piece of silverware.

Overall, Kyogo has scored 51 goals in 80 appearances for Celtic and with three games left to go of the season, you wouldn’t bet against him adding to that tally.

Next season we would love more of the same from our talisman. Europe must also be on Kyogo’s mind and I am sure he will want to display the qualities he has shown domestically, amongst the elite of the top clubs in Europe.

But before that, we have a Scottish Cup Final to look forward to. There is no doubt that Kyogo will be looking to add to his goal tally to help bring the cup, and the treble, back to the Celtic Park trophy cabinet.
