The Lennon Miller links to Celtic have been ongoing ever since Brendan Rodgers returned to the club in 2023.
The young Motherwell midfielder has been in sparkling form for two seasons now, and since being linked to Celtic two years ago, Miller’s name has never really left the fold.
There has been a lot said about Miller joining Celtic, and after being asked if he can do the same job as Celtic captain Callum McGregor, Andy Halliday left everyone in no doubt what he thought of the youngster’s links to the Parkhead club.

Andy Halliday would be ‘amazed’ if Lennon Miller joined Celtic
Halliday has been Miller’s teammate for two seasons now and gave his reasons why he would be surprised if the 18-year-old made the Celtic switch.
Halliday told Open Goal [50m], “I think he can do a bit more that just that but I think Callum McGregor can also do more than just be a six.
“I’d be amazed if Lennon done that [joined Celtic].
“He is somebody who wants to play every minute, every game, so I think if it was between a Celtic and somebody in the Serie A, I think he would go to the Italian club.”
What’s been said recently about Celtic’s links to Lennon Miller
Experienced Motherwell star Stephen O’Donnell said that if Miller did decide to make the Celtic move, it would ‘make sense’ for the Scotland youngster.
Andy Walker warned Celtic that should they sign Miller then it could hinder the development of Luke McCowan at the club.
John Hartson was all for the move after the Hoops hero said he believed that should the young midfielder move to Glasgow, Miller would walk into Celtic’s team.
Whatever happens with the player, it’s clear that Miller would be an asset to Celtic and has a very bright future in the game, hopefully, at Paradise.
