Liam Scales was asked about the protests from Celtic supporters during last weekend’s game against Kilmarnock.
Celtic fans staged a 12-minute protest in which the majority of the away section remained out of the stands to show their frustrations towards the board.
Michael Nicholson was there to see the protest and while it caught eyes on TV, it didn’t stop Brendan Rodgers’ side securing a late 2-1 win.
It was a strange experience for players, and Scales reveals how it felt.

Liam Scales focused on game instead of protests
Players are model professionals nowadays, and even though there was plenty of background noise, Scales admitted that he and his teammates were not fazed in any way.
“To be honest, once you’re over the white line, you know, you don’t really pay attention to what’s going on outside,” he told the media.
“We noticed it was quiet before the game, but once the ball’s in play, you’re not really thinking about outside the game.
“There were still fans in the stadium you know, it wasn’t empty so it wasn’t on our minds you know. We were just focused on starting the game well and that was it.”
Liam Scales likely to keep his place in Celtic side vs Partick Thistle
Scales has been a reliable asset for Rodgers and the centre-back appears to have stepped up to the plate.
Despite calls for new reinforcements, the Republic of Ireland international is a regular starter and is expected to start at Firhill this weekend.
The defender admitted that it is the first time he has played at the ground, which Rodgers confessed he had missed going to.
