Luis Palma has revealed that he has started wearing red-tinted glasses in order to help improve his performances.
Palma hopes to get another chance at Celtic after impressing during his loan spell with Lech Poznan in Poland.
The Honduras international has looked like a different player during his loan spell, and that can be attributed to some advice from Atletico Madrid’s Marcos Llorente.
Would you give Luis Palma another chance at Celtic?
Why Luis Palma has been wearing red-tinted glasses
Celtic loanee Palma has chosen to start wearing red-tinted glasses and was spotted wearing them during a recent interview.
He was wearing the glasses in his most recent interview, in which he said he was prioritising his eyesight.
“I started using them five months ago, and the truth is that they make a big difference when it comes to resting your eyes,” the winger confessed.
Red-tinted glasses are used to block blue and green light, which allows less strain on the eyes when using screens, enabling those wearing them to sleep better and reduce fatigue.
Luis Palma can provide the competition Celtic flops haven’t
As Celtic continue to play hard to get with Poznan on a permanent deal for Palma, it feels more and more likely that he will be back at Parkhead in the summer.
His last appearance for the Bhoys came in January 2025 and since then, nobody has come in and proved to be a genuine upgrade.
The 2026 transfer window is still months away, but what is the number one position Celtic need to improve this summer?📝

Hyunjun Yang is the current first choice on the right wing, but is consistently inconsistent to say the least.
Michel-Ange Balikwisha and Joel Mvuka have been total flops, while Jota has been injured all season.
Sometimes a second chance is what people need and if Palma wants that, maybe he should be given it.
