The pressure that Wilfried Nancy is under must be the first time ever that a new Celtic manager has come under scrutiny so quickly.
Even in John Barnes’ Celtic era, the Liverpool legend was given more time than Nancy, but then, that’s probably because he got instant results and a full summer pre-season.
Barnes’ Celtic lost just two of their first ten games whereas Nancy is yet to record his first win in four.
And as speculation heats up about Nancy’s future at Celtic, journalist and pundit Mark Guidi has shared what he ‘knows’ that shines a light on how the Parkhead chiefs see the Frenchman’s immediate future in Glasgow.

Can Wilfried Nancy’s Celtic spell be salvaged by a good transfer window?
Celtic boss Wilfried Nancy’s family to ‘settle’ in Scotland
Nancy has been at Celtic for just over two weeks, and as fan patience runs out, many are speculating that he could be sacked in the immediate future.
However, it appears that Nancy’s family have arrived in Glasgow and Guidi reckons that could end any speculation about the Frenchman’s Celtic future. For now.
Guidi told The Go Radio Football Show, “Well, there’s a story put out earlier on this afternoon by our old colleague Peter Martin, saying that Celtic in discussions to end Wilfried Nancy’s reign.
“It wasn’t said if Celtic had instigated that, or indeed if Wilfried Nancy had instigated that. But Celtic are quietly denying that’s the case, saying that they’re very much still behind Wilfried Nancy, despite the fact that last night was the fourth defeat in a row.
“I do know that Wilfried Nancy’s family are due to arrive in Scotland tomorrow to come over here and settle.
“So that made me think, has Wilfried Nancy instigated something on the back of the Celtic supporters’ chants against him.
“Absolutely nothing against Wilfried Nancy. But again, looking at last night in his post-match interviews, he appears to be in the wrong movie. I can’t see it working out for him.”
The Wilfried Nancy social media video must be condemned by all Celtic fans
Nancy’s family have since arrived in Scotland and there is a video circulating around social media about the Celtic boss enjoying some time with them.
This type of action is abhorrent and needs to be called out. Whatever people’s thoughts are on Nancy and how he’s doing at Celtic, filming him in private moments is bang out of order.
What would your message be to Wilfried Nancy?
And to be fair, every Celtic fan commenting on the video has called out this daft and embarrassing behaviour. Leave the man alone when he’s not at work.
If you want to make your voices clear on what you think of the result or football Celtic are playing, do it inside the stadium respectfully and without malice.
But once Nancy has stepped out of the building, he should be allowed to live his life in peace and free from this kind of nonsense.
