Paul Tisdale has been coming under the firing line in recent times.
Ever since Brendan Rodgers left Celtic in October, there has been more scrutiny and pressure on every single board member.
People such as Chris Sutton have called out Paul Tisdale, including questioning the role he plays at Celtic.
According to many, Tisdale was the one who appointed Wilfried Nancy after Martin O’Neill’s interim spell, but Mark Guidi has stated that it wasn’t as straightforward as that.
Not a good look at all… Do you have faith in Paul Tisdale to make the right decisions for the club?

Paul Tisdale’s role in Celtic appointing Wilfried Nancy and not Kieran McKenna
Celtic fans would have seen the names that were linked to the manager’s job, including Ipswich Town boss Kieran McKenna and FK Bodø/Glimt coach Kjetil Knutsen.
But speaking to Go Radio, Guidi stated that McKenna ‘made it clear’ to Celtic that he sees his ‘future in England.’
McKenna did respond to the Celtic speculation, but that was about it, and there were no suggestions that it went further than paper talk.
But, of course, from the get-go and for long periods, Nancy’s name continued to do the rounds, and people linked it with Tisdale because of their past relationship.
However, whilst Tisdale played a part in Nancy coming in, he simply ‘recommended’ the Frenchman to be interviewed, and that’s it.
According to Guidi, Tisdale ‘didn’t appoint Nancy’, even though many believe that is a key part of his job.
“Paul Tisdale, all he did was to recommend Wilfried Nancy to be interviewed,” said Guidi.
“Wilfried Nancy, Kjetil Knutsen, and I think Kieran McKenna were the names in the frame. McKenna made it clear that he sees his future in England. They decided to go for Nancy.
“Paul Tisdale didn’t appoint Nancy. He recommended for him to be interviewed. Now they have to go and get it right in January.
“That Celtic squad will not win the league. They are miles off it to win the league. Proper quality needs to come in January, and they can’t be kidded on. There can’t be excuses. There needs to be proper quality.
“The most important tuning they need to do is get a proper number nine. If Celtic don’t find a number nine, and don’t find service to get to that number nine, they won’t win the league.”
