Celtic Park could look very different for the Scottish Cup tie against Dundee this weekend.
The Hoops are the late kick-off as they look to book their place in the quarter-finals of the competition.
Things may be different though after the Celtic fans’ collective called on supporters to boycott as an act of protest against the board.
Interim chairman Brian Wilson tried to defuse the situation but that has only led to the collective doubling down on their call.
One of their main discussion points is for the Green Brigade to be allowed back into the stadium following their ban, which has been imposed since October 2025.
Martin O’Neill knows the difference they can make from the stands, and admitted that he would like to see them in the stands.

Martin O’Neill admits that Celtic Park is missing the Green Brigade
The Green Brigade confirmed that the club had asked to meet them to see if they could find some middle ground and get them back into the stands.
Celtic’s atmosphere has taken a real hit since their ban, and O’Neill hopes that they will be back in the stadium sooner rather than later.
“Of course, absolutely,” said the 73-year-old. “I think the vociferous part of the ground is still really important, of course. I’d like to see them all back.
Would you follow these steps if you were on the Celtic board too?
“I remember us playing Liverpool in 2003 and John Robertson was standing beside me. I honestly couldn’t hear what he was saying. It was that loud. It was breathtaking.
“And people whose experience of those days would be maybe even shocked to find that it is not as strong as it was then. But that can come back again, there’s no question about.”
