Celtic football club is at a standstill.
If anything, it could be argued that Celtic have gone backwards after the domestic double triumph was confirmed at Hampden in May.
As soon as that final ball was kicked in the Scottish Cup final, everyone associated with the club knew that huge and wholesale changes needed to be made.
Many Celtic supporters are wondering if anything is moving at all, and according to Michael Gannon of the Daily Record, things are happening behind-the-scenes at Parkhead, but ‘very slowly.’
“I know for a fact, speaking to a few guys behind the scenes,” said Gannon. “There are things going on at Celtic, albeit very slowly.”
What type of changes would you make to Celtic Park? 🏟️🤔

Celtic’s failure to update supporters on the goings-on at the club
One issue many Celtic fans have with the board is how they go about communicating with supporters.
In fact, there is hardly any communication, as Gannon reflected on, which is a huge weakness of this football club.
Yes, Martin O’Neill is in charge for next season, but what is happening with his backroom staff? Who is making the signings?
Even though Gannon has spoken to those behind-the-scenes at Parkhead, he has urged them to be more transparent with the paying supporters.
“The communication and the narratives that are allowed to rumble on with Celtic,” said Gannon. “I think that’s the problem. They don’t control the narrative.
“I know for a fact, speaking to a few guys behind the scenes, there are things going on at Celtic, albeit very slowly.
“But they need to let people know that these things are going on, because at this moment, it feels like nothing is happening. I know that’s not the case. That’s the perception. That’s why they need to have a more front-facing attitude. More dialogue with punters.
“Even for PR purposes. Having a few players lined up on pre-contracts, and all this kind of stuff. Getting guys lined up to be signed, starting the first day of pre-season, these kinds of things.
“I know it’s maybe not that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things – it just looks like a club that is meandering along.”

Hopefully, Martin O’Neill is starting to see the mess at Celtic…
What is supposed to be a straightforward deal has turned into a pretty embarrassing saga at Parkhead.
Everyone expected the hardest part of Celtic’s summer to be clearing the decks. Around 15-20 players going in and out.
But for weeks and weeks now, Celtic have struggled to agree new deals with Shaun Maloney and Mark Fotheringham.
Whatever the delay, it further proves the issues right at the top of the club.
Hopefully, O’Neill is now seeing it all in plain sight, and he is starting to have an understanding as to why fans have protested again and again.
