The full new Adidas Celtic training range has been released online and in stores.

The first-team are currently in Portugal gearing up for the new season, and they’ve been sporting some new gear in the process.

Fans got a first glimpse of the new Adidas gear when training resumed at Lennoxtown a fortnight ago. The initial reception was relatively positive, and now we can view the entire range on the online Celtic store.

Included are junior and adult options, ranging from polo shirts and hoodies to sleeveless jerseys and training pants.

Almost all of the gear is light grey with dark and luminous green details. It’s an ambitious colour scheme, and one that harks back to some of the Martin O’Neill days.

Our verdict is pretty mixed. Some of the gear works, others don’t look quite as good. This writer is a big fan of the training top and jersey, while the all weather jacket isn’t to his taste.

One outlier is the final option on the ‘Adidas 23/24 Training’ page: the pre-match jersey. It’s a green shirt featuring an “eye-catching, allover seasonal graphic” as Celtic put it. It’s priced at £50 and may well be a big hit with fans.

Adult pricing in general varies from £40 for the polo shirt to a whopping £140 for the winter jacket.

On early impressions, we’re not totally sure the range will be quite as popular as what we’ve seen over the past three seasons with Adidas.

But you’ll probably still see a fair few Celtic fans cutting about in grey over the next 12 months.

The entire range is available to buy now online and in store.
