Brendan Rodgers has announced his Celtic starting XI to face Rangers in the final Glasgow Derby of the season.
With the league title already wrapped up, the Celtic boss will still be keen to ensure he ends the season on a high with Rodgers going for a win at Ibrox.
Celtic’s injury problems meant that Rodgers couldn’t field a full strength first-team with Jota and Alistair Johnstone unavailable.
However, the Hoops boss has named the Celtic starting XI he believes can get the win at Ibrox and extend the lead to Rangers at the top of the Scottish Premiership table to 20 points this afternoon.

Unsurprisingly, Celtic’s injury problems force Rodgers to make big changes to the team but there was one notable absence as fans react to the news Nicolas Kuhn is missing from the matchday squad.
One Celtic fan said, “Where is Kuhn?” as another replied, “Haha, where’s Kuhn?”
However, many Celtic fans have a positive take on this:
Another Celtic fan said, “Forrest hat trick we will be there.” as another urged the Hoops legend, “Forrest hattrick!”.
One fan has a Kuhn theory:
Celtic will be hoping for a win to end the season on a high but it seems that it could be a tough ask with may first-choice players missing.
James McFadden and Open Goal’s Rangers vs Celtic prediction, Derek Ferguson is worried
Celtic fans will be hoping that Rodgers can come up with a big win to end the league season on a high.
Generally, these games are pretty tight but when the pundits on Open Goal were asked their big Rangers vs Celtic predictions, it showed just how much Barry Ferguson’s brother, Derek, was worried about the game.
Paul Slane said, “I think it will be a heavy defeat for Rangers.” Gordon Dalziel responded in the background, “Heavy? How heavy?!” and Slane added: “I am going by four.”
Dalziel then gave his big match prediction with one word, “Draw.” As Derek Ferguson is prayed, “That’s what I am hoping for, a draw.”
McFadden then added, “They scored nine in their last three against them. I think Celtic win.”
Celtic will have 2000 fans heading to Ibrox for the big game and hopefully, the 2000 of them will leave the south side of Glasgow very happy.
